The Badger Pro Surfboard is the carbon version of the Core Badger 2, combining the same playful shape with a completely different construction that makes it 25% lighter than the Badger 2! Like the Badger 2, this board is designed for small to medium waves and strapless freestyle. But thanks to the full Cartan® carbon lay-up, the Pro feels even lighter, stiffer, and more responsive. Perfect for more advanced strapless riders who want maximum response in tricks, jumps, and rail-to-rail transitions.

The board has a familiar shape: a fish outline combined with a fish tail. The Hybrid Hull combines multiple bottom contours for more control and comfort. The nose spine with added volume slices through chop for a smoother and more comfortable ride. The double concave keeps the rocker low in the middle for speed and lift, while the rails carry more rocker for tighter turns. This way, the rails release more easily, making the board more maneuverable. The V in the tail helps with rail-to-rail transitions and adds control in turns. The flat rocker allows for early planing and provides control when loading up for jumps. Grab rails make board-offs and strapless freestyle easier, and the thruster setup with FCS II fin boxes delivers a loose, playful feel with quick turning ability.

The difference between the Badgers lies entirely in the construction. While the Badger 2 uses an XPS core and fiberglass, Core chose an ultra high-density EPS core for the Pro, which is lighter and thinner. Around the core is a full Cartan® carbon wrap in a 90° crossed pattern. This build distributes forces optimally, increases compression strength, and prevents dents or breakage. The Glass Rail Saver protects the rails from impact, while the carbon tail patch adds extra durability in the tail zone without losing flex. Thanks to a silicone mold vacuum process, the board achieves consistent quality, a stiffer feel, and a weight up to 25% lower than the Badger 2. This clearly results in more control in the air and a more precise board feel.
