FCS has redesigned the surfleash from start to finish. And the result is the new FCS Freedom surf leash. The most striking change is the composition of the cord. The cord consists of two layers: an inner PU core and a woven nylon exterior. Because of this composition, the new FCS Freedom leash is per diameter lighter and stronger than any other leash on the market. This makes the FCS leash thinner and gives the Freedom leash has less drag in the water, which means you have more speed for your surf. In addition, the Freedom leash is designed to return to its original length after stretching.

The ankle strap has also undergone a change. You can now pull the strap super easy on a sturdy PU loop on the outside of the strap. The strap self is made of a 3mm thick neoprene padding and has a silicone grip print on the inside. Because of this silicone print, the strap stays in place on your ankle.
