Supple 4/3 wetsuit for spring and autumn from ION

If there's one wetsuit you pull out of your bag more than any other, it's probably a 4/3. The ION Seek Amp 4/3 Backzip 2027 wetsuit is exactly that suit: warm enough for your first sessions in April and for the late summer storms in October, without leaving you feeling wrapped up. 4mm on your torso, 3mm on arms and legs, which makes it a lot more flexible than a 5/4. Within the ION wetsuit range the Amp line sits just below the Select, and it now borrows one of its most important features.

That's also the biggest change from the 2025 version. Where last year's Seek Amp 4/3 had Plasma Plush 2.0 on the back panel, you now get Graphene Plush 2.0, the same lining that makes the Seek Select so warm. ION states that Graphene Plush 2.0 is up to 20% warmer than Plasma Plush 2.0 and dries faster. In a 4/3 that counts for even more, because this is the suit you ride at the edges of the season. A warmer back panel simply pushes those edges out a bit further.

The backzip gives you a wide opening across your back. You step in, pull the cord and you're ready. If you often head to the beach on your own that's a real plus, because you don't need anyone to zip you up. A frontzip keeps a little more water out in a hard crash, but in a 4/3 that difference is small and for a lot of kiters the convenience wins.

The recycled Max_Flex outer lining is the stretchiest material ION uses on the outside. It moves with you, so unhooking, board offs and long downwinders don't cost you any extra energy. On top of that Max_Flex doesn't soak up water, it sheds it, so your wetsuit stays lighter during your session and dries faster on the line.
