O'Neill has made the Epic from 100% UltraFlex neoprene. This material feels flexible and moves easily with your body. As a result, you experience less restriction around your shoulders and arms while kitesurfing. The graphics and finish give the wetsuit a clean appearance. Thanks to the back zip, the Epic is quick and easy to put on and take off. The updated Black Out Zipper seals the back effectively and helps keep as much water as possible out of the suit. The neck features a Double Superseal Neck. This double neck seal provides a comfortable fit and reduces the amount of water that can enter the suit during a crash.

The seams are glued and blind stitched. With this GBS construction, the needle does not pass completely through the neoprene. This allows less water to enter through the seams and keeps the wetsuit warmer than a suit with standard stitched seams. The Epic also features O'Neill's Lumbar Seamless Design. This construction uses as few seams as possible around the lower back, providing additional comfort and greater freedom of movement in an area that is placed under significant pressure while kitesurfing. A suitable key can be stored securely in the external key pocket with loop.
