Quiksilver Highline 5/4/3 Frontzip 2026 Wetsuit
Highline wetsuit that raises the bar from Quiksilver
The Quiksilver Highline 5/4/3 Frontzip 2026 Wetsuit is built for the months when most kiters have long since put their gear away. A highline is literally a line strung up high that you balance across. This wetsuit balances too, only between warmth and freedom of movement, and that is exactly the balance you need once the water drops into single digits. With the Highline, Quiksilver sets the bar a good deal higher than you are used to from a winter wetsuit.
The entire inside is lined with PrimaLoft BIO Stretch. That lining holds on to your body heat, stretches with you and takes on very little water. You notice it most at the end of your session, when you are still warm, and the next day, when your wetsuit is not hanging there soaking wet and freezing cold. For most kiters that is the difference between carrying on in January or calling it quits until March.
The neoprene itself is LAVIPRENE, based on limestone instead of oil. It feels soft, springs back well and stays supple for longer. The Champion Stretch nylon outer stretches in every direction, so your shoulders stay free on the bar. The 5/4/3 build does the rest: the thickest neoprene sits around your torso where you want to keep the heat, the thinnest on your arms where you want the flex.
On the outside the seams are glued and blind stitched, so the needle does not go all the way through the neoprene and hardly any water gets in. On the inside there is NNT reinforcement tape over the seams and Melco spot tape on the highest stress points, where a wetsuit usually gives up first. The glue is water-based Aqua Alpha. The frontzip makes it easy to get in and out of your suit, keeps water out better than a zipper on the back and leaves your back completely free to move.
Do you want to keep kiting through the coldest months without shivering your way back to the beach after twenty minutes? Then the Quiksilver Highline 5/4/3 Frontzip 2026 Wetsuit is a serious contender. Warm, supple and properly finished in the places that actually matter.
