When looking at the Slingshot One Lock front wing line-up, the 1255 is by far the most accessible. It delivers the best low-wind performance without an extremely high top speed, making it easy to build confidence. If you ask us, this is the true go-to front wing for most riders. Unless you are a speed demon and already more advanced on the foil, then the 855 might be a better fit — but you will sacrifice some low-end performance for that extra speed.The One Lock 1255 is simply the best choice for 90% of foil kite surfers. As you improve your skills, the 1255 will easily allow you to start practicing your first toe-side turns and progress towards real tacks and jibes. For optimal performance, we recommend combining the 1255 front wing with the 270 tail. The front and back wings can be assembled very easily thanks to the One Lock system — no screws needed! The seamless connection between the front and back wings also creates the fuselage. This lightweight front wing is made from a combination of two types of carbon. A protective cover is included with the front wing.
